The application areas of myonic’s precision ball bearings are extremely diverse. The products are used in the fields of medical, mechanical and precision engineering as well as in the aerospace industry. Niklas has started his dual curriculum in the process development department in October.
» After graduating from high school, I started my apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic at myonic GmbH in Leutkirch, which I completed successfully in summer 2017. Since October I am now an engineering student, specialized in production and management. The study leading to a Bachelor Degree takes three years. Besides basic technical knowledge and a subject area specialisation during main course, also business administration skills are obtained. The advantage of the dual study course is the well-balanced proportion of theory and practice and the possibility to gain valuable experience for my future professional life before graduating. In the process development department a lot of interesting and challenging tasks and topics are waiting for me. For example, adapting and optimizing existing processes, the implementing of new production methods as well as Industry 4.0 and digitalization.
The course of study is definitely a challenge for me. I am only at the beginning of my career and many things are new territory for me. But luckily I already know the company and most of the colleagues back from the time of my apprenticeship. I found friends among my colleagues quickly and we meet outside of work regularly. In my spare time, I am enthusiastic about photography and videography as well as image processing and the technologies behind it. There is an almost unlimited variety of expressive possibilities. Furthermore, I like building model airplanes, creating PC systems and optimizing them.
I am very proud to be part of a global business group and enjoy going to work. The different MinebeaMitsumi subsidiaries operate in a variety of business areas and markets and therefore are in fund of an impressive knowledge baseand a huge pool of experience, which makes my job even more interesting. This comprehensive pool creates impulses, ideas, and new ways of thinking. I think it is MinebeaMitsumi’s secret to success. I am definitely curious and looking forward to everything that is coming next. Especially the future cooperation with the subsidiaries will be very exciting for me.
