The acquisition of Mast Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG by MinebeaMitsumi Technology Center Europe GmbH took place in the course of the planned succession process and is expected to strengthen and extend the product range of drive components. The location in Bad Waldsee, Germany, was founded in 1960 by Franz Mast. As a manufacturer of precision plastic components, the company quickly took root in the industry. In 1992, Peter and Ulrich Mast took over the management and during almost 30 years of the joint executive board, the brothers made the company Mast Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG a global leader in plastic tool-based gear and drive components.

As a part of the MinebeaMitsumi Group, in the future the location will act as a European competence centre for tool-based precision plastic parts. Meanwhile, operations continue as usual and MinebeaMitsumi Technology Center Europe is glad about 130 new colleagues in Bad Waldsee.

Peter and Ulrich Mast agree that the MinebeaMitsumi Technology Center is a strong and dynamic partner for the future course. Both operate as managing directors further on and have achieved an important goal in the succession plan by securing the existing jobs.
