Liette Lascaux studied marketing and law as well as customer's service representative in her birthplace Montreal. Today, as a production assistant at Mach Aero, she takes care of enquiries and orders from subcontractors and faces the daily challenges of her still quite fresh job. We asked her to tell us more about her exciting work at Mach Aero.
»In my job as a production assistant, I deal with a wide variety of departments and people. Through the inquiries and orders I place with subcontractors and suppliers, I have the opportunity to build a multi-faceted network. Although I've not had the opportunity to get in touch with other MinebeaMitsumi sites yet, I like the international corporate culture, which is also reflected at Mach Aero. In the beginning it wasn't easy for me because I had to get used to the different processes of the company and understand how they work. Thanks to the extremely friendly and helpful colleagues, I was always supported and so I was lucky to find my way around quickly. But even after almost six months of being part of Mach Aero, I still face new exciting challenges every day. In order to keep the delivery times of our products to the customer, I take care of ensuring that all requirements are in time and subcontractors keep their delivery dates. During my time at the university I learned a lot about communication and today I can use these experiences in dealing with suppliers and customers. Because I'm a very ambitious person, I work every day to master the tasks I get from my supervisor just as well as the person I represent. This of course also means that I have high expectations of myself.
Outside work and the daily routine I like reading and gardening, because this is where I can relax and recharge my batteries. In order not only to relax in my free time, but also to power myself out, I like to go aquabiking. But most of the time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children.
The great working atmosphere and the strong cohesion among the colleagues make working at Mach Aero unique. The helpfulness and the open-minded nature of the employees not only help to establish contact within the team but also to communicate with other departments incredibly quickly. At Mach Aero every day is different and brings new exciting tasks. This makes the work interesting and there is no trace of boredom here. I really hope that I can be a part of this growing international group in the longer term, because it is an honor for me to work here.
