Igor Petrovčik, Mayor of Košice (Old Town) honored "the quick, selfless and generous help to SOS Ukraine 2022 and the compassion MinebeaMitsumi showed to the refugees after the outbreak of the Ukraine war."  As the founder of the SOS Humanitarian Help Warehouse, he expressed his sincere gratitude to all involved on behalf of the affected Ukrainian citizens, showing his appreciation for the generosity and unprecedented willingness to share with the vulnerable and with people in danger.

In March, thanks to the efforts of Minebea Slovakia s.r.o., MinebeaMitsumi Europe had organized the transport of relief goods such as food, hygiene items, clothing and washing machines to Inovce on the Ukrainian border. Employees of Minebea Slovakai s.r.o. had also supported other relief goods organizations in Košice with a lot of commitment following the donation campaign.
