The challenge was hosted by the local St Barnabas Hospice, which supports families with terminally ill relatives. St Barnabas Hospice opened its doors over 35 years ago. More than 80,000 people have received free end-of-life care and support across Lincolnshire. The „It’s a Knockout“ fundraiser event takes place every summer and is a fun day for the whole family.  It is a great way to raise money whilst having fun with colleagues and friends. The money raised helps to support hundreds of families across Lincolnshire.

The two teams of NMB Minebea UK were among hundreds who battled it out on the giant inflatable obstacle course and raised over £2,000 – one of the two teams even won the challenging course. The team’s captains were Senior Managers Andy White and Alison Robinson, who are both very proud of all involved. „It gave us an opportunity for fun and team building whilst raising money for this amazing charity“, says Alison. For NMB Minebea UK, this was the first time that two teams were entered.

Well done to all involved – Your willingness to take part entertained the crowds and will help to make a real difference to a lot of patients and their families.
