About MinebeaMitsumi FC
The club was founded in 1964 as part of Honda Lock Manufacturing Co.'s in-house club activities, and was promoted to the Kyushu Regional League in 1997 and changed its name to "Honda Lock Soccer Club" in 1999. They won the Kyushu Regional League for the first time in 2004 and was promoted to the JFL the same year.
In 2006, the club was once relegated from the JFL, but after a third-place finish in the 2008 All Japan Adults Football Tournament and a fierce battle in the subsequent Japan Regional Football Champions League Final, the club was promoted back to the JFL.
In 2011, they were qualified for the Emperor's Cup as the JFL club, and in 2016, they achieved a record-breaking 4th place finish in the league. Then, in 2021, they remained in the JFL after the promotion/relegation play-off against a regional league, and in 2022, they finished 10th in the league and received the Fair Play Award for two consecutive years.
With pride as a corporate team, they will continue to strive to be "the best amateur corporate sports team in Japan."
