Minebea Slovakia opens a state-of-the-art research and development building in Košice, Slovakia.

Košice, Slovakia, May 21, 2024 - Minebea Slovakia is pleased to announce the opening of its state-of-the-art research and development (R&D) building in Košice. This center marks a milestone in the company's expansion and innovation efforts. The new facility, which is set to become a center of technological advancement, is expected to employ highly qualified engineers.

With the new R&D center, MinebeaMitsumi underlines its commitment to innovation and regional strengthening in Slovakia. The facility is intended to intensify cooperation with the Technical University of Košice and other renowned universities and thus promote a lively exchange of knowledge.

The new R&D center will specialize in developing industrial and automotive solutions for BLDC motors, actuators, software design, and software testing, thus shaping and enriching the local industrial landscape.

A particular highlight is the test laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), one of the most modern in Europe. It complies with the strict CISPR 25 standards of the automotive industry and enables advanced testing to ensure the highest quality and reliability of products.
