"Our heartfelt thoughts are with all those who are directly and violently affected during the current unspeakable humanitarian catastrophe. We are doing our best to support the many families who have been forced to leave their homes and, of course, are trying at all times to protect our affected employees and their families by all means. Especially in such difficult times, it is more important than ever to show and live support and solidarity as a European Group of Companies," says MinebeaMitsumi Europe CEO Jörg Hoffmann.
MinebeaMitsumi is in close and continuous contact with all employees affected by the current crisis. Maros Dunda, Team Leader at Minebea Slovakia s.r.o., together with colleagues drove a large quantity of relief goods to Inovce on the Ukrainian border this week, including urgently needed goods such as food, hygiene products, clothing and washing machines. "It's hard for me to describe what a feeling it was to enter the accommodation facility for Ukrainian refugees. Numerous helpers and volunteers were busy coordinating deliveries of essential supplies to Ukraine the best they could, as well as supplies for the refugee shelter in Inovce, where about 70 refugees were able to find shelter on short notice," he reports. "The relief supplies MinebeaMitsumi was able to deliver were really urgently needed and were put to use immediately."
