Visit of the Japanese Ambassador to the "Japanese Samurai Exhibition" in Košice

Last week, the Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Kawakami, visited the Samurai Exhibition currently on display at the East Slovak Museum in Košice. The exhibition offers an excellent opportunity to explore and promote Japanese culture to a broad audience.

The exhibition was made possible thanks to the support of the Japanese corporation MinebeaMitsumi, which operates the largest European manufacturing facility for drive technology and automotive components in Košice. Ambassador Kawakami expressed his sincere gratitude to the company for its contribution.

Visitors to the exhibition hall can admire an impressive collection of Samurai-related artifacts—including helmets, armor, and swords—gathered worldwide. Each exhibit is accompanied by detailed descriptions to enhance the visitor experience.

The management of the East Slovak Museum in Košice greatly values the commitment of the Japanese Embassy in the Slovak Republic and MinebeaMitsumi. It extends its deepest thanks and respect for their support.
